ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Alumni Association has been a source of support to the growth of the college The Annual General Body meeting was held on 1st February 2009. Janab. F. Sadiq.

MBA presided over the function. Our alumni Haji S. Ahamed Meeran, Chairman Repute Group of companies, Chennai, Mr. Annamalai , District Registrar, Madurai, Mr. M. Ali Akbar M.Com, Supervisory Excise Officer, Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation were among those who attended.

A monthly calendar of the Alumni Association was given as a compliment to the members. The Dubai chapter has given a handsome scholarship of Rs.3750 each to M.Mohamed Ismail M.Com and M. Fathima of II B.A. English. The Repute Educational and Charitable Trust disbursed Rs.8000 as scholarship to some of our students .

The Alumni Association is also taking efforts to get an auditorium constructed. Two classrooms are going to be constructed for which the alumni, our college teachers and other philanthropists have contributed sizable donations. While Dr. B.A.Abdul Karim is the Secretary ( Activities), Prof. A. Hamil is the Secretary for Administration, Prof. S.M.A.Kaleelur Rahman is the Secretary in charge of Chapter Coordination. Prof .S. Jeya Kumar is the Treasurer of the Alumni Association.
