DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

The Bachelor’s Degree Course in Chemistry was started in 1979. The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) was introduced in the year 2007 – 2008. The department also offers Certificate and Diploma courses in Chemical Analysis.

The motto of the department of chemistry is education, employment, productivity and prosperity.

The department also offers biochemistry as one of the allied subjects to make our chemistry students familiar in molecular modeling, drug design etc.

With rich experience of teaching, the department is focusing on enhancing chemistry education with the global prospective.
