DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY

The department of microbiology was started in the year 1997, offering B.Sc., Microbiology with a sanctioned strength of 24 students. In addition to the U.G course, the department is also offering certificate and diploma courses in Medical Laboratory Technology. The department comprises of three highly spirited and dedicated teachers.

From the academic year 2009-2010, Department of Microbiology will offer P.G course in M.Sc., Industrial Microbiology.

Prof. K. P. Abdul Kader Mydheen, M.Sc., M.Phil., is head of the department.
