DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY

The department of microbiology was started in the year 1997, offering B.Sc., Microbiology with a sanctioned strength of 24 students. In addition to the U.G course, the department is also offering certificate and diploma courses in Medical Laboratory Technology. The department comprises of highly spirited and dedicated teachers.

From the academic year 2009-2010, Department of Microbiology offers P.G course in M.Sc., Industrial Microbiology.

Mrs. R. Jennet Rani, M.Sc., M.Phil., is head of the department.
