DEPARTMENT OF TAMIL

Tamil, the mother tongue of the vast majority of the people of TamilNadu, is an ancient and rich language. The contribution of Tamil – Speaking Muslim Community to the growth of Tamil is Substantial.

From the year 2006 Dr. S. Mahadevan, M.A., M.Phil., Asst. Prof. is the Head of the Department of Tamil.
