The department of Physical Education was started in the year 1972.

Prof. N. Mustafa, M.A., M.P.Ed., M.Phil. is the head and physical director.

Prof. M.Syed Ali, B.Sc., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Phil., P.G.D.Y., D.S.M.A. is the assistant physical director.

The department provides sizeable number of Indoor and Outdoor games. The college has Standard 400m – 8 lane Athletic tracks. In addition to this college has Basket Ball Court, Cricket Field, Standard Football Field, kho-kho field, Volley Ball Court, Ball Badminton Court, Shuttle Badminton Outer Court and Kabadi Court.

The department also conducts lots of State Level and National Level Tournaments. The sports students are given priority during admission. 75% of fee concession is given to sports students along with food and accommodation.
