The District-level Ball Badminton Tournament for college students under the Chief Minister's Trophy–2026 was conducted on behalf of the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu at Francis Xavier Engineering College, Vannarpettai, Tirunelveli, on 12 September 2026. The Sadakathullah Appa College, Palayamkottai Men's Team secured First Place, while the Women's Team secured Third Place, bringing pride and honour to the institution through their outstanding performance.
