A one Day Institutional workshop on “AI-Powered Spreadsheet” was held at Sadakathullah Appa College (Autonomous), Tirunelveli on 24th February 2025 organised by Department of Mathematics in collaboration with Placement and Training Cell. Fourty six students from our Department students were participated in the workshop. The Workshop was inaugurated at 09.30 a.m. It started with Qirath by R. Mohamed Subair, III B.Sc. Mathematics. D. Ilham Nafia, II M.Sc. Mathematics students welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. M. Abdul Kader, Principal of the College delivered Presidential Address. Dr. Yunush Ahamed Mohamed Sherif, Placement Co-ordinator gave the felicitation address. After the inaugural function the Technical Session began at 10.45 a.m. The Resource Person Mr. M. H. Syed Ashiq Ilahi, Founder of Smart Tech, Melepalayam, provided a hands on training on the Topic “AI-Powered Spreadsheets”. The Second Technical Session began at 2.15 p.m. The valedictory function was held at 4.30.p.m. Dr. S. M. A. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice – Principal of the College delivered the Valedictory address and distributed the certificates to the participants. A.Dhivya, III B.Sc. Mathematics, gave the vote of thanks.

The Department of Mathematics conducted the Valedictory Function of Mathematics Association for the academic year 2024-2025 on 27.02.2025 at 08.30 a.m. in the Auditorium, Sadakathullah Appa College (Autonomous), Tirunelveli. The programme started with Qirath. Dr. S. M. Abdul Kader, Principal of the College gave the presidential address. The Resource Person Dr. S. Pasunkili Pandian, Associate Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Mathematics, Aditanar College of Arts and Science, Tiruchendur delivered a speech on the topic “Internship and Job Placement Strategies”. We awarded shields to the students who got the first, second position in B.Sc., M.Sc., and Centum scored in Allied Mathematics for the academic year 2024-2025. 85 students attended the function.
